Our
Management Team
Daniela Café Aoude is a co-founder and managing director
of the General Partner. Previously, she has held a variety of positions
at Bank
Icatu, one of Brazil's leading investment banks, between January
1995 and April 1999, where her last position was the head of the
Bank's New York broker dealer. Between July 1991 and April 1994,
she worked as an auditor at Price Waterhouse do Brasil. She holds
a B.A. in Business Administration from Universidade Candido Mendes
in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Daniela is a native speaker of Portuguese,
and is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
Manuel Etter
is a co-founder and managing director of the General Partner. Previously,
he worked at GP Investimentos and its captive consulting company,
Gradus, between April 1997 and December 1999, where
he focused on the financial valuation of potential private equity
investments as well as on restructuring projects in GP's portfolio
companies. Prior to joining GP Investimentos, Manuel worked at
Goldman, Sachs & Co.'s Latin American Investment Banking Group
in New York from April 1995 to April 1997 and between
April 1994 and July 1994. Manuel is
a graduate in Business Administration from the University
of St. Gallen
in Switzerland and also holds a Master's Degree in International
Management. He is a native speaker of Spanish and German,
and is
fluent in English, Portuguese and French.
Kaleil D.
Isaza Tuzman is a co-founder of the
General Partner, but is not involved in the day-to-day business
of
the Fund.
He is
also a co-founder of Recognition
Group LLC, a company focused on restructurings and reorganizations
of companies in distress. Formerly, Kaleil was the Chairman and
CEO of govWorks.com, a global web-based portal that facilitates
constituent interaction with local government. Previously, he
worked
as an Associate in the Risk Arbitrage Group at Goldman, Sachs &
Co. in New York. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University
with a degree in Government and a master's level certificate in
Latin American studies. He is a native speaker of English and Spanish
and is fluent in Portuguese.

Venture
Board
The General Partner has selected the members of the Venture Board
based on their expertise in a wide range of industries. The Venture
Board includes individuals involved in Latin American and Hispanic
businesses. The Venture Board provides e-nicial Ventures' team
with guidance
on investment strategies and investment decisions related to prospective
Portfolio Companies. Members of the Venture Board are more involved
with the Fund's activities than members of the Advisory Board.
Venture Board members may also serve as "Champions" of investment
opportunities, for which they may be given certain co-investment
priorities.
Christian
Bardenheuer
Christian
began his career with FM International, Inc.
a New York-based international consultancy group for luxury and
high-end fashion houses.
In 1990, he joined Viatel, Inc., a New York-based telecommunications
start-up.
In 1992, he became President of
Intertel Communications S.A., a Paris-based value-added telecommunications
firm. In 1994,
Christian returned to the U.S. and co-founded CallNOW.com,
an international
telecommunications online company.
Markus J.
Becker
Markus is the CFO of Mailsource, a spin-off of the Swiss Post Office.
He also is a co-founder of Armajo.com, a company focusing
on media
convergence.
Previously,
he
was the
director
of e-strategy
and business development for EDS Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Markus holds
an MBA magna cum laude in Finance and Accounting from the University
of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
Wenceslao
Casares
Wenceslao is Chairman and CEO of Patagon.com,
a company he sold to and later partially bought back from Banco
Santander. Wenceslao was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur in
1998 and is now an Endeavor Board Member and active in the Endowment.

Marcelo
Conde
Marcelo is Founder, Chairman and CEO of Spring Wireless, a company focused on
the Brazilian wireless applications market. Prior to starting Spring Wireless,
Marcelo worked at GP Investimentos and Gradus, its captive consultancy, as well
as at Booz Allen and Procter&Gamble. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School,
where he was a Baker scholar and graduated first of his class in Robotics at
São Paulo's Polytechnic Institute.
Clive Cook
Clive is a partner at South Beach Ventures. Clive was also a co-founder
of Patagon.com, where he was COO and then CSO. Mr. Cook has
a proven
track record of growing start-up companies. His previous experience
is as senior strategy consultant and operating manager for
different high tech
companies. Clive holds a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering form
the University of Calgary, a Masters degree in Computer and
Systems
Engineering and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
Camilo Cruz
Camilo is co-founder of Yupi
Internet (www.yupi.com) which
is one of the most visited Internet portals around the world.
He has a Master in Analytical
Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Analytical Spectroscopy from the University
of Seton Hall.
Andy Freire
As the founder and CEO of Officenet, Andy Freire conducted the
start-up to grow from zero to $40 million annualized sales
in a 30 month span,
becoming the leading business to business e-commerce platform in
Latin America. Andy previously worked
in Procter & Gamble in the finance department and graduated magna
cum laude in Economics from San Andres University in Buenos Aires,
Argentina.
Ric Fulop
Ric is a successful serial entrepreneur with
experience
in all aspects of broadband communications. Investors in his different
companies have included Cisco, Motorola, Inktomi, Intel, AT&T,
Fidelity, Highland Capital Partners, Morgan Stanley, NTL,
Adelphia, Venrock and BankBoston among others. He is also a board
member of Endeavor
(www.endeavor.org), the leading
non-profit organization that promotes entrepreneurship in emerging
markets.
Felipe Holguin
Previously, Felipe was a Principal at Banc of America Securities,
where he coordinated merchant banking investments and M&A for technology
and media companies in Latin America. Prior to joining Banc of
America, Felipe was Vice President at Salomon
Smith Barney's Investment Banking in New York and a consultant
at the Boston Consulting Group's Boston office. He holds an MBA
from Harvard Business School and
undergraduate degrees in Management and Manufacturing
Engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Peter Kellner
Peter Kellner is a founder of several companies
and organizations, including Ural Petroleum Corporation, whose
successor
is Khanty
Mansisyk Oil Corporation (KMOC); The
Science, an innovative science and technology media company;
Endeavor,
an organization that promotes entrepreneurial leaders
in emerging markets; and Environmental
Management and Law Association (EMLA), Hungary's leading
environmental management and law association. He attended Yale
Law School, Harvard
Business School, and Princeton
University.
Gary Mueller
Gary is Co-Founder, President and CEO of Internet Securities,
Inc. (ISI), an online provider of financial and business information
on emerging
markets.Prior to ISI, Gary spent
three years working in emerging markets, primarily on privatization,
and was part of the economic reform team that assisted Russia in
its transition to a market economy. He also worked for KPMG's privatization
group in Washington, D.C. and Poland. Gary is a graduate of Harvard
Business School and Harvard College.
Esteban Piedrahita
Esteban is one of the founders and Chief Executive Officer
of Zoom Media Group (formerly Punto-Com). Prior to founding Zoom,
he was a co-founder and CEO of laciudad.com, the largest local
portal in the
Andean Region, acquired by Terra. Before that,
Esteban was Economic Editor of Business Development of Semana magazine.
Prior to
joining Semana, Esteban was an investment banker with Salomon Brothers
in New York. Esteban
received his Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in Economics
from Harvard University.
David Taggart
Over a twelve-year period, David built America Economia, a
Dow Jones publication, to be one of the largest regional publications
in Latin America. Currently, David
is a partner at South Beach Ventures.
Gregory Carson
Gregory is the
CEO of greetNwin.com, Inc., a company that provides consumers
with high quality communication tools for free. Prior to
joining greetNwin, Gregory was the managing director of CI Technology
Licensing, Inc. Before CITL, Gregory
oversaw marketing/branding, product development and fulfillment
at govWorks.com. He also founded and served as CEO of Mass
Hysteria (formerly EchoLink) for seven years growing it from 0
to $10
million in
profitable revenues before taking in investment capital.
He holds a degree in computer science and sociology from the University
of California
at San Diego.
